Happy birthday! お誕生日おめでとう! I hope my present is useful to you this morning. I'm sorry I can't give it to you in person, since I'm super busy this morning...but I wanted you to have it as soon as possible, too. Maybe we can meet up later today instead so I can make it up to you? Or would you rather meet up on Sunday instead? Let me know!
Coincidentally, today is Pocky Day in Japan, too! ポッキーゲームをしよう? I hope you enjoy them!

He lets out a soft chuckle when he unearths the pocky, setting the box on the coffee table for the moment while he pulls out the scarves, his expression incredibly fond already before he even reads the note. It was so Minako to go out of her way like this, and it was incredibly endearing. He grabs his phone to send another message: ]
Never mind, got the package. Thank you. I should be free later this afternoon if you wanted to meet up? I admit in my old age I'm not too fond of going too ham on my birthday but I'd still be open to suggestions.
