[She still has the drive over so it takes her ten minutes, but in no time at all she's at the front door, bouncing on her heels, knocking on the door twice and waiting for an answer. Her face and fingers are still chilled from leaving the snowy mountains-- he might feel it when she throws her arms around him and tucks her face into the crook of his neck the second the door is open.]
[ He's mostly dressed when she shows up, having thrown on a pair of sweatpants and a loose-fitting t-shirt. Ever since his pyrokinetic abilities had come around, he found himself running warmer as a result. Which was nice in some aspects, sort of annoying in others.
David's eyes widen and he lets out a small 'oof' as Minako surges forward to hug him, only to let out a small chuckle and ignore a slight shiver from the difference in temperature. ]

[ He tilts his head slightly to kiss the top of her head before trying to swing them both inside proper. ]
[ He stifles a yawn as they head inside, grinning right back at her - unsurprisingly the commotion has woken up both of the cats as well since they lost their heat source.
He tilts her head up and gives her a full-on kiss on the lips, only to pull away slightly to murmur against them: ]
[Even with as high on the joy of being home and being with him as she is, she shakes her head. As much as she wants to accept his offer, she has a lot she needs to get done in the 24 hours she's been allowed.]
Thanks, I'm okay. I'm going to go back home and nap a bit before I throw myself into baking Valentine's Day goodies for people. I just wanted to see you before I headed back.
[A lingering kiss for him this time, a little hint of a smile at the corner of her lips.]
[ He cuts himself off from the rest of his train of thought when she kisses him again, though his eyes slide closed at the lingering contact and he pulls her close to him again. ]
... I don't think there would be any objections if you did.
[Now that his body heat is starting to warm her up, her eyes fall closed with content, and that's her mistake. She loses all the strength to fight off her exhaustion, her body relaxing into his. The couch, his bed, even the floor-- she wouldn't care what she slept on as long as she gets to rest.]
Then. Just for a little bit. And then at five I'll go back...and then we can have our date later tonight...
[ He frowns - he can't talk, considering sometimes he has to pull all-nighters depending on the job - but it's just in his nature to fret over that sort of thing, apparently. He does it with Yoon-sung enough.
He frowns a little, shifting them over to at least be next to the couch. ]
Did ... [ He pauses for a moment. ] Would you be okay on the couch, or did you want to take the bed? I can sleep out here if you're not comfortable with it...
[She mumbles into his chest that five hours is plenty, reluctant to move but sluggishly following him to the couch regardless.]
Not gonna kick you out of your bed, David. The couch is fine.
[Your bed with both of us in it would be better, her mind adds as an afterthought, but warm dragon boyfriend or no, she'll be fine, sinking onto the couch and heaving a soft, sleepy sigh.]
[ He does (reluctantly) peel himself off of her for a few moments to grab a couple extra blankets and a proper pillow, laying the blanket over her and tapping her shoulder to make sure her head is lifted to set the pillow under it.
Satisfied with his handiwork, he huffs out a laugh and bends over to kiss her again. ]
Get some sleep, then. I'll leave out stuff for the coffeemaker, grab a cup on your way out. I'll see you later tonight.
[Later she's so going to regret not taking the chance to cuddle with him in bed, but for now, she only tips her head up to meet his lips in the kiss.]

[True to form, five hours later, she's up and at 'em, and out of the apartment within thirty minutes, leaving a sticky note on the kitchen counter: "thanks for the coffee ♥". And given that she has a lot of Valentine's Day sweets to make and deliver, she doesn't make it back to his apartment until later in the afternoon. She's dressed on the nicer side of casual, not knowing what their plans are. In fact, she hadn't really texted him much asking about it, figuring they can just wing it.]
[ He does too, don't worry, but he is at least looking forward to the date tonight.
David's up about an hour or so after she is, and smiles softly at the note before getting ready for the day.
He had to make a few calls and pull some strings, but hopefully everything worked out tonight - mostly because he wasn't sure when they were going to have a chance again with everything going on lately.
But he's dressed fairly casually as well, switching out his usual button-up for a more casual shirt, one of his leather jackets, jeans and boots. He greets Minako at the door with a grin, swooping in for a quick kiss. ]
Sounds good. I got reservations for us at seven for dinner, but the dress code's pretty lax anyway, so don't worry about changing. Did you want to head over to the park while we wait?
Just a walk. I figured that we should just take a nice break today, for the most part.
[ It probably would be a bit overkill otherwise, and never mind the fact that he knew that Minako was probably more than okay with taking it easy for a bit otherwise. ]
But if there was anything else you wanted to do today, don't hesitate to ask, alright?
Mmkay! Nothing comes to mind right now, but maybe I'll get an idea while we walk. [She laughs.] We could stock me up on half-off Valentine's Day chocolate to take back to the mountains, I'd be happy with that.
Might not be a bad idea, and hey, chocolate's a decent pick-me-up a lot of the time anyway.
[ David taps his chin in thought while they're on the way - a lot of what he had originally planned was technically still on the table, it was just more of a matter of making sure it was still possible. ]
