She doesn't have much time before she has to get back to Elizabeth, so she's gotta make the most of this impromptu visit...but still, she wouldn't forgo their usual greeting.]
Once David's out the door, he's stopped dead in his tracks. Not that Minako was never beautiful before, it's just a nice surprise to see her like this. His eyes are wide and his mouth is slightly agape, but he snaps out of it quick enough after she kisses him on the cheek, responding in kind. ]
That expression, for one. I wanted you to see this before I headed out to the shrine. [She does a slow turn so he can see the back of the obi as well.] What do you think?

Mmhm, it's part of her birthday celebration, since she's a New Year's Day birthday girl. But that's part of the problem-- I want to celebrate with her, but I also really wanted to kiss you at midnight. So I came to give it to you early.
[As much as she wants to invite him to the shrine, he deserves some sleep in preparation for Sorey and Mikleo's wedding tomorrow morning...]
It doesn't have the same exact magic as it does at midnight, but I can live with that. Though you sure you don't want me to come with anyway? long as nobody minds me tagging along, of course.
